In addition to the wonderful tributes made at my brother Stephen's funeral recently, by his and my younger brother Paul,  his eldest son and his best friend, I would really like to add a tribute of my own.  It has already been stated how knowledgable Stephen was and of his love of  books and

English Literature, but he and I so often would enjoy discussions about films and tv dramas.  Stephen would ring me to ask if I'd started to watch a particular drama - and if not, why not?  Similarly with films, before  the lockdowns, and mostly we did agree on the quality of programs  but of course not every one.  This in fact goes back many years, and there used to be a non-mainstream film venue in Manchester we both loved and Stephen's love of the more quirky, 'alternative'  - film noire - sytle inspired me back then, and continues to this very day - and for that I will always be grateful.  Thanks Stephen xx
