The time we drove down to Stansted Airport to catch the plane to Slovenia - and with the airport almost insight, the Bro decides that that would be the perfect time to go for a pot of tea.  Which we did, turning off the dual carriageway in search of a cafe, which are not too thick on the ground in that part of the world.

Twenty minutes or so of futile driving around later we called the search off and headed back to the airport where we discovered we had missed the flight to Ljubljana by about ten minutes.  We had to put up for the night in a local [somewhat pricey] Holiday Inn, arriving in Slovenia a day late.

Things got a lot better after that [as they generally did for me and the Bro...].
